This is an interesting case for the Liberal Government representatives. In the last State election, the Labour Govt was bashing the Liberals for selling off school estates for private speculative development. This dilema is exactly what the Labour Party should'nt be doing and is actually practising now in Notting Hill - any comments Hong Leong? Furthermore, it is no brainer that the matter is an ideal opportunity for either Parties to prove or correct their commitment to community support and care, or the latest election is not near enough. I am confident this Notting Hill case is a most ideal "show & tell" opportunity for any Government Party to show their capabilities in public evidence, and canvass local support for their Party's values and achievements in future campaigns - any followup actions from local electorate representives would be most appreciated as I am sure the community will collaborate with them to resolve the matter positively and who knows perhaps innovate an effective model or establish a wonderous case-study of community and government collaboration! Any takers and influence me and other residents in the next Federal & State election milestones?
